$20 at Aldi's is equal to $100 worth of the same thing from your favorite drive thru chain sandwiches 🥪
After careful calculations, that avoid food waste and overspending I make copy cat coffee shop bagel sandwiches.
Its about $1.11 for sausage egg and cheese everything bagels if you shop at Aldi using my recipe. You'll need 3 packs Lovin' Fresh Everything Bagels, 1 pack Breakfast Best Sausage Patties, 2 packs Happy Farms sliced cheese, 1 and a half dozen Eggs. Comes to about $20 Makes/Yields 18 breakfast sandwiches with a few slices of cheese and 6 eggs left over. I simply put into my air fryer on separate racks, the sausage patties and bagels set them for 8 minutes on 400 degrees and use the 2 minute high fry setting that rises the heat to 450 degrees to get the bagels toasted.when the setting becomes available I click it, open the door, and add cheese to the sausage. I then microwave the egg in an egg cooker for a minute and let it. Rest for an other minute in microwave before removing.
The microwavable egg cooker is $6 on Amazon though, which I did not include in the $20 calculation. I also recommend an air fryer with at least 1 rack. There's plenty of ways to cook it up but this is the express method, its intended to be the quickest most budget friendly way, that doesn't take much more time than running in and out of a coffee shop. An other house hold staple we've decided to get is an annual subscription for Instacart. These are always in the "Bulk Up" for the month order we make. We could easily eat one every day but on average each of us eats about 6 to 12 a month.
If you're here, I'm sure you already love savings or need to figure out a way to save up for something better. So, here's a link to bonus savings on things we use here when budgeting and quality have to meet just click the shop tab!
